FAQ

If you already in any stock / others ICS ROM
- Direct flash latest experiment / nighly builds ROM.

If you are running Gingerbread ROM (include stock or custom ROM)
- Flash CM9 latest Resurrection ROM. (only for one time)
- I suggest better update to Stock ICS ROM then just install CM9, SKIP the Resurrection build.

What to do for future updates
- Just follow given instruction by codeworkx and only flashl the experiment / nightly build.

What to do before installing CM9
- Completely read below whole article (include those link inside) and understand it. [Link]

A Must step when changing from ROM 'A'  to ROM 'B'.
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET via CWM.

Titanium Backup
- Use with caution, don't restore any previous System Apps, only do for apps you download from Play Store
- Try not select too many apps one short, as this is well known issue Titanium will not restore back correctly

How to get even better performance in CM9
- Install any CPU changer app (example Voltage Control, SetCPU)
- Change I/O to noop (origin is cfq) - CM9 performance setting lack this feature.
- Keep governor as Hotplug
- Min frequency as 300Mhz
- Max frequency as 1200Mhz
- Tick Force GPU Rendering at System Settings - Developer options

How to get back Google Maps
- Search Google Maps at Browser, then open the found link via Play Store (only do this if you can't find it when directly search at Play Store

Not Found - My Files
- My Files is Samsung app, it forever won't available at CM9.
- Just install any File Manager from Play Store, suggestion use Root Explorer or File Expert.

Pros of CM9
- Pure experience in ICS, no more Samsung customization look where nearly remove 90% of the ICS look
- Smooth experience in ICS, CM9 is 2x smoother than any Samsung Stock ICS ROM
- Easier customization, all CM9 themes at Play Store & XDA thread is support

Current limitation of CM9 build
- No build in video call, use skype instead.
- No FM Radio support, I had personally test out the Spirit FM, but it is not working yet.
